Clay Lacy Develops New FBO and Corporate Hangar Complex
In 2022, Clay Lacy Aviation announced plans to develop 16-acres with 120,000 square feet of hangar capacity, 15,000 square feet of FBO and office, 3.6-acres of ramp, and a 40,000-gallon fuel farm at the Waterbury-Oxford Airport.
- Official groundbreaking took place in August 2022 with the first phase of the facility scheduled to open the first half of 2024.
- Steel went vertical in April 2023.
- Final steel arrived onsite in June 2023.
- The first hangar sold out by August 2023.
The first 40,000-square-foot hangar is scheduled to open in the first half of 2024 with the second and third 40,000-square-foot hangars scheduled to open closely thereafter.
