Orange County FBO Receives AIN Honors for 2nd Straight Year

For the second consecutive year, Aviation International News readers have chosen Clay Lacy Aviation’s John Wayne Airport (SNA) location as the top FBO in the Americas in two categories. The renowned survey had Clay Lacy’s Orange County FBO as the best in the categories of Line Service and Customer Service.

In addition, two Customer Service Representatives were individually recognized on the AIN Above and Beyond list – Amanda Angel, Lead Client Service Representative at Clay Lacy’s Van Nuys (VNY) FBO, and Ashley Schweitzer, Client Services Manager at SNA.

“Their commitment to exceptional service has set a high standard for all of us,” said Alex Scott, General Manager at SNA FBO. “It shows the dedication that this incredible team has made to the guest experience. To be recognized a second time by the people who directly visit our FBO is a great validation of our thoughtfully better, detail-oriented experience we strive to deliver. We can’t wait to raise the bar even higher with our new facility serving Orange County clients and travelers.”

Clay Lacy also received the Sustainability Award at the AIN FBO Award Dinner and Gala, recognizing the company’s commitment and strategic actions within the industry. All Clay Lacy facilities have been certified carbon neutral and 100% of ground support equipment operate on renewable fuels.

Through concerted employee efforts, we have eliminated more than 110,000 plastic bottles from use and have decreased emissions per employee by 54%. At least a third of the electricity at facilities are produced by renewable means.

A leader in Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Clay Lacy has sold over 200,000 gallons of SAF at our FBOs. The AIN award joins other industry and third-party sustainability recognition, including being the first company certified to the NATA sustainability standard in business aviation, the Green Facility designation by 4AIR, and the NBAA’s Sustainable Flight Department accreditation in the category of infrastructure.
