Clay Lacy Answers Call to Help Maui Disaster Victims
Published: NBAA, August 18, 2023
After devastating wildfires on Maui, Clay Lacy Aviation’s team came together quickly to fly critically needed supplies to the island. An Embraer Legacy 600 flew 1,200 pounds of supplies from Van Nuys, California, to Maui – including blankets, food, diapers and baby formula for families who have lost everything. The company worked in conjunction with Merriman’s Hawaii Restaurants and Community Relief Maui to distribute the crucial supplies.
“We were happy we were able to complete this mission,” Flight Support Manager, Manny Hernandez said of the quick turnaround effort to provide relief. “Anytime there’s a need, we’re here to assist and do what we can to help out.”
